Vertebrate or Invertebrate?
Echinoderms are invertebrates. While some have spines, a spine is not necasirly a back bone so it does not count as a backbone.
Body Symmetry
Echinoderms have only radial symmetry.
Method of Feeding and Digestion
Echinoderms have a filter feeding system, which means they absorb suspended particles passing by. The Echinoderms digestion is tube within a tube. Echinoderms do have a mouth, stomach, and anus.
Coelom
Echinoderms have coeloms with the water-vascular-system. This means that they have fluid filled cavities, which allows it to move.
Hook
The Echinoderm needs a derm-atologist.

Other Information
- Echinoderm is Greek for scaly skin.
- Echinoderms reproduce sexually and asexually.
- The Water-Vascular-System is unique to Echinoderms.
- Echinoderms are unique because they are the only large animals that can survive of desert conditions.
